Sima Shi
Letting the Wushuang flow through us...
Lived for 28 years since December 11th to grow to be 5'11" tall.
Under the mandate of Heaven....
With a Rapier at his side, becoming a great Emperor-to-Be of the Jin.
Against the powers of destruction...
Harnessing the power of Ice to execute a flawless Wushuang Attack
Guiding us in balance of Yin and Yang....
Born into a military family, Sima Shi was the favored son of his father, the military general, Sima Yi. Even though his father showed clear favoritism, Sima Shi did not let it go to his head and treated his younger brother, Sima Zhao, with fairness where their father would not. But he was a very harsh and blunt older brother. He quickly reprimanded Sima Zhao whenever he made a mistake, only hoping to better his younger brother into becoming more mature and admirable. Both the brothers grew up in sync with each other, and were the best of rivals and friends even though there were many opposing factors. Sima Yi’s wife was a gentle woman who stood behind her husband…but at the same time she could be a terrifying force to deal with when her mind was set. Their mother played her part well, making her presence known whenever it was under her authority to do so; such as enforcing family dinners and making sure the boys were properly educated in all areas, not only in war tactics.
As a youth Sima Shi already knew the importance of the literary studies as well as the intricacies of warfare. Therefore he put all his effort into his studies with the private tutor, realizing that until he became of age, it would be futile devoting all of his time to practicing with weapons. Thus, a genius was born. All of his tutors were amazed at the progress he made in such a short time at such a young age. Within a few years it was acknowledged that he had a photographic memory and that the way his mind worked was in a way unlike any other. This of course delighted his mother, while his father was mildly pleased. The real goal for Sima Yi was to see if his son’s brilliant mind could be used in the way of battle strategies. Still, Sima Yi respected and acknowledged the gifted mind his prodigy of a son possessed.
Later on when he started to get involved in the profession of his father, Sima Shi’s burning ambition started to surface. Even without his father’s help, he rose through the ranks quickly and easily, becoming a commander and strategist for his people. To say Sima Yi is proud of his son is an understatement. Both his sons have risen and attained high positions in the army, and both {especially Shi} are the first ones he comes to to consult anything related to the war. While leading his own army though, Sima Shi takes in all the factors of the battle, prepares for anything that might go wrong, and leads with a composed and sometimes referred to as icy, demeanor. On and in the midst of the battlefield Sima Shi will look at all the factors with a frigid and calculating eye. He seeks for only the most efficient way to carry out a plan, and many call this side of him a perfection seeker. This personality on the battlefield has earned him much respect from his subordinates and forced many of his superiors to acquiesce to his potential and skill.
When at the normal campgrounds though, one will never find anyone more gentlemanly and polite than Sima Shi. He was raised as nobility so he took upon the mannerisms and customs of the royals growing up. The only thing that can outweigh his devotion to the war is his compassion for his land and people. Sima Shi actually wishes for peace but knows that there must be a war beforehand. An amiable and fairly likable man, he is willing to put up with the opposing side, now allies, if it means that they have a higher chance of success. This though, does not mean he trusts them all fully; they need to earn it.

And the guidance of the Divine....
Although a full grown man, Sima Shi does have some childish and at times considered, bizarre quirks. He loves meat buns to a fault, one time almost getting into a shouting argument with another about the loss of one of the delicious pastries {this was while he was still a youth, though}. Also, he is a phenomenal speaker, but when he feels the mood is not too serious, he will embellish his speeches with overly dramatic poetic references…just because
